Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms are enormous and the bed was so comfy. We had a delicious breakfast around the pool which was perfect. The staff are all warm and friendly, we will definitely be coming back. 10/10
Overall This. Boutique hotel is about 5 km outside of the “ downtown “ core, but one of the best ive been to on the west coast of Mexico. ‼‼‼ I prefer to be outside the night life, you can have the best of both worlds because if you want to “ party” you can but when you want quiet …. Avela is your place. The hotel is very well maintained, and absolutely spotless. The staff are extremely accommodating, and one reception staff is very knowledgeable about the area and makes good recommendations, Daniel is his name. Food; ive only had the complimentary breakfast, which very good. Sit down service , not lining up for the grub. Ive seen other meals and they seemed fine. The Room; FANTASTIC! ( except for the shower needs a renovation! The room Is very spacious and well insulated. AC works great, and the bed is to die for. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE MORE HIGHLY! Kudos to you Avela.
We weren’t anticipating having to move to the Avela, but because of the unrest in Puerto Vallarta, we cancelled our trip there and the Avela staff were absolutely incredible about finding us a room and getting us settled on very short notice. In the midst of uncertainty when they have a lot going on in their personal lives, they made space to welcome and care for us. We will always be grateful for our time here and the kindness shown.
Avela is a great place to stay in Sayulita! All the wait staff and employees are incredible, nice, chill and super friendly! It’s a very laidback hotel—exactly what I needed. It’s further from the core town, so quieter, though, it is near a more main road, so keep in mind traffic noise if you are looking for super quiet. Didn’t bother me though! The restaurant at the hotel punches above its weight too, offering a free breakfast (which is fantastic) but also more dishes at a reasonable price too. If I were to come back I would choose Avela again!
We loved our stay at this hotel. So peaceful. The breakfast we had every morning was delicious. The pool & hot tubs are clean and amazing. It is close to town but far enough to not be too noisy. Daniel and Jose were super helpful & kind as the other staff members. Room service was great. One day we were exhausted & didn’t want to leave the hotel for dinner so they ordered us delivery from a local restaurant. That was everything. Thank you guys for being so hospitable & we will definitely be back!!!
I had a truly wonderful stay at Avela Boutique Hotel and couldn’t recommend it more. The hotel is ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the busy town centre, which meant I could enjoy everything Sayulita has to offer while still returning to complete peace and quiet. The nights were incredibly restful, with no noise from partying, something I really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious too, served right by the pool. A special mention must go to Daniel, who made the stay feel effortless and personal. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care truly stood out and made me feel very well looked after throughout my time there. A calm, beautiful, and thoughtfully run boutique hotel, I would absolutely stay here again!
My friend and I got stuck in Sayulita after the Cartel unrest that occured while we were here. The hotel staff were so accommodating and managed to find us a room last minute. The facilities are absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. The staff wanted to make sure we felt safe and secure and were so kind. So far we have only met Ama, Daniel and Davide but I don't have a bad word to say about any of them. So polite and warm and friendly. We feel very fortunate to have landed here after such an unsure few days. Thank you, we will definitely come back!
Spend 6 days at this wonderful place with my fiancé. That staff was absolutely wonderful and super attentive. The food was phenomenal and we absolutely loved the pool and hot tub combo. Location is nice and quiet, but close enough for a nice walk down to the square. Can’t recommend this place enough.
